The Terms of the 2013 Photograph of the Year Competition
 Novinska agencija Beta raspisala je je i ove godine konkurs za najbolju novinsku fotografiju godine u 2013. Konkurs traje do 19. aprila ove godine.
Betin konkurs za novinsku fotografiju godine nema posebnih tematskih kategorija. Učešće na konkursu se ne naplaćuje.
 Pravo učešca na konkursu "Betina fotografija godine" imaju profesionalni novinski fotoreporteri koji rade na području jugoistočne Evrope - dnevni, lokalni i drugi listovi, magazini, časopisi, periodične publikacije, novinske agencije i internet portali, bilo da su stalno ili honorarno angažovani u tim medijima. Fotografije moraju biti snimljene u jugoistočnoj Evropi.
 Na Konkurs se šalju fotografije snimljene tokom 2012. i 2013, do kraja trajanja Konkursa.
Svaki učesnik Konkursa može poslati najviše pet fotografija, isključivo u rezoluciji 300dpi, maksimalne veličine 3MB i iskljucivo u JPEG formatu. Uz svaku fotografiju treba da stoji ime autora, naziv fotografije, kao i mesto i vreme kada je snimljena. Fotografije se šalju na mail adresu betafotokonkurs@gmail.com.
 Prijave za Konkurs dostupne su na sajtu www.betafotokonkurs.com i takodje se šalju mailom na istu mail adresu, na koju i fotografije.
 Članovi žirija ovogodišnjeg Betinog konkursa su Savo Prelević (Vijesti), Igor Nobilo (predsednik Zbora fotoreportera Hrvatske), Dragan Kujundžić (Asocijacija fotografskih autora), Aleksandar Kelić (Fakultet primenjenih umetnosti) i Nenad Petrović (Beta).
 Pobednicima Konkursa nagrade se uručuju na dan otvaranja izložbe.
 Prva nagrada iznosi 1.000 evra, druga 750 evra i treca 500 evra.
 Imena nagrađenih fotoreportera biće objavljena u dnevnom servisu Novinske agencije BETA odmah nakon odluke žirija, a nagrađene fotografije biće emitovane u foto-servisu Bete.
 Žiri ce od svih pristiglih radova odabrati i fotografije koje će biti predstavljene na izložbi.
 Izložbu prati katalog u kojem će svi autori, čije je radove odabrao žiri, biti predstavljeni sa po jednom fotografijom.
 BETA će pristigle radove svih autora postaviti na svoj internet sajt posvećen Konkursu, a nakon odluke žirija objaviti i fotografije nagrađenih fotoreportera kao i svečanog uručenja nagrada.
 This year the Beta News Agency is again organizing a competition for the best newspaper photograph. Applications for the competition may be sent by April 19. BETA’s 2013 Photograph of the Year Competition has no special categories. No fees will be charged for participation in the competition.
 All professional photographers working for any print media in South East Europe – be it dailies, local and other newspapers, magazines, various publications and periodicals or news agencies and Internet portals – are eligible to participate in the competition with pictures taken in South East Europe, regardless of whether they are full-time or part-time employees, or freelancers. The photographs submitted have to be taken in South East Europe.
 Photographs taken during 2012 and in 2013, by the application deadline, may be submitted.
 Every competitor may submit up to five photographs, in 300dpi resolution and JPEG format exclusively, no bigger than 3MB. Each photograph should carry the full name of the author, the title of the event shot, its location and the date it was taken. The competitors may e-mail their work to betafotokonkurs@gmail.com.
 The application forms are available at www.betafotokonkurs.com and should be emailed to the same address as the photographs.
 The members of the Jury will be Savo Prelevic (Vijesti), Igor Nobilo (Choir Croatian photographer), Dragan Kujundzic (the Association of Photo Authors), Aleksandar Kelic (the Academy of Applied Arts), and Nenad Petrovic (BETA).
 The winners will be presented their prizes on the day the exhibition opens.
 The first prize is worth EUR1,000, the second EUR750, and the third EUR500.
 The names of the winners will be announced via BETA’s Daily News Service immediately after the panel of judges reaches its decision, and winning photographs will be released as part of BETA’s Photo Service.
 The Jury will make a selection of photographs that will be displayed at the exhibition.
 The exhibition catalogue will include all photographs selected by the Jury for the show. Each author will be represented by one picture.
 All submitted photographs will be posted at BETA’s website dedicated to the competition, as well as the pictures of award winners and the official presentation of the prizes following the jury’s decision.
