Novinska agencija Beta raspisuje konkurs za najbolju novinsku fotografiju godine.

To je deveti konkurs pod nazivom "Betina fotografija godine". Pozvani su da učestvuju profesionalni fotoreporteri iz zemalja jugoistočne Evrope sa fotografijama snimljenim u jugoistočnoj Evropi.

Konkurs je otvoren do 22. aprila ove godine.

Nagrade su novčane: Prva iznosi 1.000 evra, Druga 750 evra i Treća 500 evra. Pored glavnih nagrada, predviđene su i specijalne.

Generalni sponzor konkursa, Telekom Srbija, dodeliće nagradu za najbolju sportsku fotografiju.

Posetioci drustvenih mreza ce izabrati nagradu publike, a autor ciji rad bude ima najvise glasova bice nagradjen mobilnim telefonom Sony Ericsson XPERIA pro.

Medijska organizacija jugoistočne Evrope, SEEMO, će specijalnom nagradom nagraditi najbolju fotografiju na temu ljudskih prava. Poseban žiri izabraće fotografiju koju nagradjuje SEEMO.

Članovi žirija ovogodišnjeg Betinog konkursa su Aleksandar Anđić (Vreme), Dragan Kujundžić (Asocijacija fotografskih autora), Vladimir Tatarević (Fakultet primenjenih umetnosti), Srđan Sulejmanović (EPA) i Nenad Petrović (Beta).

Izložba nagrađenih i izabranih radova biće otvorena u galeriji Nju Moment u Beogradu 17. maja u 18 časova. Agencija Beta će kao i svake godine izdati katalog svih izloženih radova.

Konkurs za najbolju novinsku fotografiju Beta je ustanovila 2004. godine povodom 10. godišnjice početka rada Agencije.

The Beta news agency opened on March 9 its competition for the best photograph of the year.

This is the 9th consecutive competition BETA is organizing under the title “BETA’s Photograph of the Year.” All professional photo reporters from the countries of South East Europe are invited to participate with pictures taken in South East Europe.

The competition will last until April 22.

Prizes awarded in the competition are monetary: the first prize is worth EUR1,000, the second EUR750, and the third EUR500. Special prizes will also be awarded.

The competition’s general sponsor, Telekom Srbija, will grant a prize for the best sports photograph.

Visitors of social networks will select the work to receive an audience prize, and the author who garners the most votes will be awarded a Sony Ericsson XPERIA pro mobile telephone.

The South East Europe Media Organization (SEEMO) will award a special prize to the best human rights photograph. The best work in this area will be selected by a special panel of judges.

The members of the Jury will be Aleksandar Andjic (Vreme magazine), Dragan Kujundzic (the Association of Photo Authors), Vladimir Tatarevic (the Academy of Applied Arts), Srdjan Sulejmanovic (EPA), and Nenad Petrovic (BETA).

An exhibition of selected works will open in the New Moment Gallery in Belgrade on May 17, at 6 p.m. As in the previous years, BETA will publish a catalogue of all exhibited works.
