BETA’s Photograph of the Year Competition Begins
The Beta news agency opened on March 5 its competition for the best photograph of the year.
This is the 10th consecutive competition BETA is organizing under the title “BETA’s Photograph of the Year.” All professional photo reporters from the countries of South East Europe are invited to participate with pictures taken in South East Europe.
The competition will last until April 19.
Prizes awarded in the competition are monetary: the first prize is worth EUR1,000, the second EUR750, and the third EUR500.
The members of the Jury will be Savo Prelevic (Vijesti), Igor Nobilo (Choir Croatian photographer), Dragan Kujundzic (the Association of Photo Authors), Aleksandar Kelić (the Academy of Applied Arts), and Nenad Petrovic (BETA).
An exhibition of selected works will open in Hotel Zira in Belgrade on May 16, at 7 p.m. As in the previous years, BETA will publish a catalogue of all exhibited works.
